Project Narrative

This project was developed for a beauty salon in Izmir, Turkey, with the goal of creating a website that effectively showcases the salon's services and encourages user engagement. The aim was not just to design a website, but to create an immersive experience where users could easily assess the salon's expertise by simply navigating through the site, ultimately motivating them to book an appointment. Inspired by the salon's name, "ChicTouch," the design was kept elegant and sophisticated. The homepage features a clear, welcoming message, with important options like online appointment booking and voucher purchases prominently displayed. To enhance user convenience, essential information such as contact details, working hours, and the salon's location was made immediately accessible. The services offered by the salon were organized into six main categories, providing a comprehensive overview that instils trust in potential clients. Additionally, a brief introduction to ChicTouch was included, followed by customer testimonials presented in an engaging manner to further build credibility. To foster ongoing engagement, a newsletter subscription option was added, and users were encouraged to explore more through the salon's Instagram link. The colour scheme of the website was carefully selected to reflect the salon’s ambience and decor. Moreover, the online appointment system was seamlessly integrated with Izmir's comprehensive appointment platform, ensuring a smooth booking process for users.
